Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung officially inaugurated the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) 2026 at the JIExpo Kemayoran Arena, Central Jakarta, Thursday (6/11).

Pramono has set a target of six million attendees for this year’s exhibition, eyeing a total transaction value of over Rp 8 trillion.
"I hope that next year’s event will be even more festive, drawing a larger crowd and generating over Rp 9 trillion in transactions for MSMEs. Given that last year's total surpassed Rp 7.3 trillion, I am hopeful that MSME transactions here will hit Rp 8 trillion this year," he remarked.

Further, he highlighted that Jakarta presently contributes 16.67 percent to the national GDP, bolstered by an economic growth rate of 5.59 percent.
In an ongoing effort to enhance urban mobility, the Jakarta government is consistently upgrading its transportation sector. Jakarta’s transit connectivity is nearing completion, currently standing at a 93 percent coverage rate.
In light of this, he encouraged visitors of the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran to take advantage of the city’s public transportation facilities.
"Hope major events like the one in Kemayoran will encourage more people to opt for public transit by making it more accessible and convenient," he explained.
Meanwhile, PT Jakarta International Expo President Director and Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2026 Organizing Committee Chairperson, Siti Hartati Murdaya, stated that the annual event will run from June 11 to July 12, 2026, to commemorate Jakarta’s 499th anniversary.
The fair is renowned as the largest, most comprehensive, and longest-running multi-product exhibition in Southeast Asia, showcasing an extensive array of premium domestic and international brands.
Beyond commerce, this fair transforms into a vibrant entertainment hub, showcasing 150 A-list musical acts throughout its 32-day duration. The current event sees the participation of 2,800 companies occupying 1,800 booths.
She also highlighted that the previous installment of the Jakarta Fair drew a staggering 5.9 million attendees, generating a transaction volume of Rp 7.3 trillion.
"Such an achievement underscores the public’s fervor and the trust placed by industry players in the fair as a premier promotional stage for a diverse array of relevant products," she remarked.
This event is envisioned as a collaborative nexus that bridges stakeholders from the trade, industrial, and creative sectors, including MSMEs.
It showcases an extensive array of sectors, spanning automotive and fashion to home essentials, furniture, and beauty and skincare, among others.
